A Good Ol’ Utah Holiday Storm

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! For those of us lucky enough to call Utah home, the holidays brought copious amounts of white puffy joy!

A nice three day storm total had the Canyons reporting 30″ of new pristine powder and we were lucky enough to go cut some really nice lines, giggling like little kids on the playground the whole day. The temps were a little tricky to deal with, a few hikes on a semi protected ridge line had us feeling every bit of the 30 mph north winds, but the reward of deep fresh pow was worth every step in the biting cold.

The utter joy of a solid powder day was followed up with the epicness of a wonderful bluebird day. With temps hovering around 8 degrees, the sun had it feeling really nice on the hill. The visibility was crystal clear and maching groomers with a good foot plush of chunked pow was just magical.

Words never really do justice, but neither do these photo’s either;) It was just a wonderful few days early in the season here in Utah;)
